Bose helped with the EQ tuning and ANC on the $130 Moto Buds Plus. The collaboration resulted in a high-quality audio experience at an affordable price point.
Motorola came out with more news today than just a new Edge phone made of wood. The company also released two sets of earbuds. The Moto Buds Plus are the more expensive pair, priced at $129.99, while the Moto Buds are the simpler pair and will only be sold in certain markets. The Plus, on the other hand, stands out as the more interesting product. This is because Motorola and Bose worked together to make the EQ tuning and active noise cancellation on these buds. The carrying case has the words “Sound by Bose” written on it.
According to Motorola’s store page, the Moto Buds Plus “deliver an unprecedented audio experience.” ” That doesn’t say much about how close they worked together. “We worked closely with the Motorola engineering team to make sure they delivered a premium audio and ANC experience for the category and price range they’re in,” said Joanne Berthiaume, a spokesperson for Bose.
The Moto Buds Plus sell for $129.99.

Because they cost $130, you shouldn’t expect them to work as well as Bose’s own QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, which cost $170 more.
If you use the Moto Buds Plus with Motorola phones and supported content, they support wireless charging, Dolby Head Tracking, multipoint pairing, and a “water-repellent design.” There is also a mode called “transparency” for times when you want the opposite of “noise cancellation.”
The stemmed design isn’t very special, but for the price, you’re getting a good range of features. The battery life is up to eight hours (without ANC) and up to 38 hours (with case recharges).
